Student Services
NIBA College provides various types of learning support for distance students.
Study guides
All students in distance education courses receive a study guide with their training materials. The guide provides advice on how to approach the course material and assessment activities. It is a must to read the guide before starting the formal study program.
Tele-tutorials
Telephone tutorials are available to all candidates enrolled in any qualification course. They provide an opportunity for candidates to discuss topics within a study module with an industry assessor. Use the Tutorial Request Form to arrange a tele-tutorial when needed.
Assistance to form study groups
When enrolling into a course, candidates can choose to become part of Learning Partner Register. The register lists candidates who have agreed to make available their contact details to others students to assist in forming a study group. The LPR is a way to get in contact with other candidates studying the same module. Hopefully it provides a chance to discuss and gain different views and ideas on relevant subject topics. Queries about joining the register can be made to NIBA College.
