How Programs are Delivered

The College offers practitioners a choice of undertaking their program by coursework or workplace assessment option.

Coursework

Coursework is for those who are entering a new area of work or need to bring their skills and knowledge up to date with current practice. NIBA College offers a broad range of qualifications by coursework for insurance broking and general insurance. All courses on offer are modular and can be completed as full qualifications or short courses.

Workplace assessment

Workplace assessment is for those who have been continuously working in a role for some time and seek to have their current skills and knowledge formally recognised.NIBA College is an industry leader in workplace assessment for practitioners. Not only do you gain formal recognition of your capabilities but like many experienced practitioners, you will find that you will benefit from the constructive feedback you receive from your assessor during the process.

NIBA College offers a broad range of qualifications by workplace assessment for life and general insurance broking, life and general insurance and financial planning

Program Duration

The duration of your program depends on how quickly you complete the work to the standard required. On average you could finish at the lower or upper end of these ranges:

Broker Management Short Course 10-12 months

Full Graduate Diploma of Financial Services 18-48 months
All workplace assessment 4-8 weeks
