Enrolment

You can enroll in most courses at any time. The exception is the Graduate Diploma which is offered on a semester basis.Your enrolment in a program block of study or module is valid for 12 months and you are required to complete all the assessment requirements within this time.

Once you have decided on the program you wish to undertake, complete the enrolment form online or download the manual form and send it to NIBA College. If you have any questions regarding your enrolment or which course or assessment is right for you, please contact us on qualifications@nibacollege.com.au.

Once you are enrolled you will be sent a confirmation email with a link to your program learning materials and other important information. If you do not receive either of these emails it is important that you contact us as soon as possible.

Before enrolling in any course or assessment read through the program description and check the following:

  • Your eligibility to enroll in a particular program. Entry is based on how well your past work experience and prior education meet the prescribed pre-requisites.One important requirement is that you are currently employed in a role that is relevant to the qualification because College courses are very practical and work related. Also, if you want to complete a workplace assessment to gain an ASIC adviser or responsible officer accreditation and, you do not have any other recognised industry qualifications, you need to have five years relevant industry experience out of the last eight years in the role. The pre-requisites that apply to program entry appear in the program descriptions.
  • Make sure you read the program terms of study prior to enrolling. You will be bound by these rules once you have signed and submitted your enrolment form so it is important you make sure you understand them. If you would like to talk to someone about the terms of study prior to enrolment just give us a call.
  • Check you eligibility for recognition of prior learning as you may receive a course credit for modules where you have previously successfully completed equivalent learning outcomes. Please be aware in order to receive credit transfer, you will need to provide a certified copy of your Statement of Attainment or equivalent documentation on your studies.
  • Once you have made a selection from the catalogue you can use NEO to register and pay on-line. If you do not have access to the internet you can still complete a manual enrolment form and forward it to NIBA College for processing.
