This program is the pre-cursor to the Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) and will satisfy ASIC Tier 1 Insurance Broker advice requirements.
The main focus of the program is to develop your core broking skills and knowledge. You will undertake three areas of study:
- Module 1: Essential Background Knowledge for Insurance Brokers
Allows students to acquire the essential background knowledge in insurance markets, products, legal requirements and industry standards for brokers.
- Module 2: Tier 1 Advisor Basics
Relates to the basics of providing advice as a broker plus important supporting skills.
- Module 3: Core Tier 1 Insurance Broking Skills
Teaches students to apply the higher level, core insurance broking advisory skills.
