This assessment is suitable for those working in management roles in the general insurance industry.
This assessment is for experienced insurance general managers and covers the following competency areas and can be undertaken in general or life insurance streams.
- Skills related to business management including preparing strategic plans, implementing an operational plan, controlling a budget and developing and managing financial systems.
- Skills related to establishing and preparing operational guidelines and interpreting and managing statutory, legislative and regulatory obligations for organisational compliance
- Skills related to sales and marketing including implementing a client service strategy, monitoring sales performance and identifying and evaluating marketing opportunities
- Core business knowledge and skills as they apply in the financial services industry including: financial services legislation, industry and professional codes of practice, health and safety practices and the effective use of technology, information collection and presentation, communication and team work skills.
