NIBA College Education Pathway

At NIBA College there are many ways to advance your professional education. For example, if you are:


• New to the job you can start as a trainee and build your qualifications one at a time to match your career progression.

• An experienced broker you can enter directly into an advanced program that builds on the knowledge and skills gained via your work experience.

• Already qualified in one area and want to develop specialities such as claims assessing, risk management, product development or compliance, you can complete part or full qualifications across a number of levels.

The College offers brokers and those working in general or life risk, a catalogue of qualifications that span from Certificate III and IV through to Diploma, Advanced Diploma and the university level Graduate Diploma.

About NIBA College

NIBA College is accredited by government educational bodies to offer nationally recognised qualifications in insurance broking, general insurance, life Insurance and financial planning.

The College offers full qualifications and also short courses to allow practitioners to gain an ASIC accreditation at the earliest stages of their professional study.These programs are listed on the ASIC training register.

NIBA College qualifications range from those for new entrants up to tertiary level programs for senior advisers and managers. These qualifications articulate through to government Technical and Further Education colleges and the Australian university system.
