Enrolment
The scheme is for new entrants (someone employed for less than three months full-time or 12 months part-time) or those moving into a new role from other areas. It is preferred that applicants have no post-secondary qualifications although this may not preclude them from participating in the scheme. People with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
Most trainees complete:
- Certificate III in Financial Services – for brokers and advisory staff
Traineeships with NIBA College are also available in Certificate II in Financial Services – for receptionist, front-line customer service and administration staff and Certificate III in Insurance Services – for claims handling and policy processing staff.
