About Traineeships
A traineeship is a contract between the employer, trainee, Education Department and the Australian Apprenticeship centre. NIBA College is then nominated as the training provider. Applications to appoint a trainee are undertaken through your local New Apprenticeship Centre. To find your local apprenticeship centre click here.
Before a trainee can be enrolled with NIBA College trainees need to:
- be assessed by local New Apprenticeship Centre’s (NAC) representatives to determine eligibility for the funding
- complete a traineeship information form and any other paperwork associated with the funding in a particular State upon commencement
The type of traineeship approved depends on the location of your business and the work and educational background of your trainee.
If you have any further questions regarding Traineeships please feel free to contact NIBA College's Traineeships Assistant Michelle Daniel on 02 9459 4317 or traineeship@nibacollege.com.au
