Module 1: Professional Broking Practice (Foundation Module)
This module involves examining what it means to be a professional broker and what factors are shaping the future of broking practice. The module introduces the CPIB professional standards that underpin this program and the range of skills and knowledge required to be assessed throughout the program. As part of the assessment requirements for this module, participants are asked to complete a work preferences self-assessment tool to identify their own strengths and weaknesses to aid personal professional development planning and goal setting.
Module 1 is compulsory for all candidates undertaking CPIB, including those undertaking the coursework (Modules 1-8) pathway, and those seeking the recognition (or assessment only) pathway. Those CPIB candidates, who are eligible for the recognition pathway, will complete the separate CPIB Recognition module, following completion of Module 1.
