Preparing to Study
Our research indicated that NIBA members were strongly supportive of the need to include assessments in the program with an appropriate level of rigour. The CPIB Program has various assessable components based around the achievement of the professional broking standards. For each module the focus of assessment is the design and implementation of a work based activity that demonstrates your application of the key module concepts and themes in your workplace. The project is negotiated with your mentor or supervisor. It is designed to cater to the diversity of CPIB participant needs and contexts, for example, areas of specialisation, or whether you are working in personal lines, commercial lines or specialist technical areas like claims or premium funding. Each module also has an online test to assess your understanding of the module topics prior to completing your workplace component. |
