This module examines how to establish guidelines and criteria for cost-effective client service contact; how to deal with contingent demands that may arise due to changing circumstances; document preparation and distribution procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislative and underwriting requirements; and the types of control mechanisms required to monitor, evaluate and modify your planned activities. Establishing Client Risk Assessment Methodology - 2 points
This module will give you the knowledge and skills to determine the most appropriate method to meet your client’s needs and capacities. You will develop quality risk exposure review documentation to facilitate effective analysis of client risks; develop your own structured interview guides so that you can advise clients on how to treat all their risks, both insurable or otherwise; and develop notices and instructions to meet disclosure requirements. Establishing Supplier Relationships - 2 points
This module includes identifying availability and suitability of suppliers, establishing criteria for effective evaluation of suppliers, and establishing and communicating terms of appointment. At the completion of this module, you should be able to establish supplier relationships to achieve service support requirements (Program Code: CPDRO004)

Human Resources Management - 3 points
This module looks at the first of the human resource management functions; that of staffing the organization. It includes identifying human resource requirements, job analysis, establishing standards of performance, staffing structures, and recruitment and selection of staff. (Program Code: CPDRO005)

Implementing Promotional Strategies - 3 points
This module demonstrates how to use your sales and marketing plan to develop and implement a promotional strategy to achieve your goals and directions, to enhance the company image, and to meet all relevant legislative requirements. (Program Code: CPDRO006)

Information Support Systems - 2 points
This module includes identifying system needs; determining the range of information to be collected, processed and stored; processing and storing information; suitable information support technology, and establishing measures to monitor the effectiveness of the system. (Program Code: CPDRO007)

Introduction to Business Planning - 5 points
Benefits of planning, and how to plan effectively in order to establish and achieve desired outcomes. You will also develop a profile of your business by identifying opportunities and constraints, as well as be able to review business operations and service guidelines to ensure legal compliance. (Program Code: CPDRO008)

Marketing Distribution Channels - 3 points
This module looks at how to manage the distribution function through evaluation, preparation of performance targets, resource allocation, training requirements, and procedures for monitoring and reviewing their effectiveness. It also includes a section on how to monitor and review your sales and marketing plans to retain their relevance and standards. (Program Code: CPDRO009)

Operational Procedures - 3 points
This module includes incorporating compliance into operational procedures, identifying and standardising operations, preparing work flow charts, developing procedures, setting performance standards and targets, and implementing control and monitoring measures. (Program Code: CPDRO010)

Sales and Marketing Plans - 3 points
This module looks at the activities which need to be considered when developing sales and marketing plans, such as, developing performance targets for sales and promotions; identifying and planning support requirements for plan implementation; identifying and organising distribution channels, and implementing monitoring and review mechanisms. (Program Code: CPDRO011)

Staff Training Programs - 2 points
This module examines the various options companies have for training their staff, including training needs analysis, planning and organizing staff training programs, and the evaluation and review of programs. (Program Code: CPDRO012)
